Man Its Hot.....

Hey! First of all that is so sweet Noah is going to Fiji!! Proud of that kid man! Well fam dam, this week was great! We had another baptism! I was able to dunk my man Harold! Hes an awesome dude, right after his baptism he came and worked with us. Sick right? He is only 13. Love the kid. We hope to start to teach the rest of his family also. Well the baptsim was sweet. We have been also working with brother Moleros family all 6 of them haha to be baptized in April. 

      I had a few cool experiences this week I will share real quick. Well the first is that we have this 18 year old kid that works with us a lot, and he's a super talented kid. He was in the picture I sent last week. Anyways his older brother was active but he fell away, he started getting drunk and stuff everynight. So the kid said we should go teach him. And we had such a cool experience with him. We shared with him about the lords promised blessings to those who follow commandments. And he just started tearin up and said how he always wanted to serve a mission but he felt like he couldn't cause he has this thing wrong with his lip which makes it hard for him to talk, but he always loved the church and wanted to do good. But it just was a cool thing that happend, he changed and we are gonna try to get him to serve now! All from the spirit.

      Well the other experience I had was that I talked to people in my last area, and the missionaries baptized this old lady that I had prepared for baptism, the only problem was she was super weak and like every week we thought she was going to die! haha But she always had a huge desire to go to church and be baptized. Well finally right before I left we figured out a way for her to go to church and get baptized. And then I got transferred. Well I found out that she was baptized, and then the next week she passed away! And thats great! haha only because you can see Heavenly Fathers hand in that work, because there would have been almost no way to get her info for proxy baptism! And I know she was suffering but I know Heavenly Father gave her strength to finish her saving ordinance before she headed to the spirit world:) dope right? Well love you mom! And Family!

Happy St.P! Man I could pinch so many people here!

haha hey mom! And Family! Well this week was great! with one very crappy night! haha I'll only tell you because its over now and im better.... Well this week was sick! It was transfer day and no I didn't leave and neither did Lilly! One more transfer with him. Yes, we had a Baptism! Brother Fransisco Molero! He is so awesome! He is a super faithful guy who even though is poor, pays to travel to church with his 7 children! That baptism went so well, and this next week we have another scheduled! My boy Harold Saavedra! He is 13 and loves to come to church, and the reason he wants to be baptized is cause he wants to serve a mission! There is no one in his family who are members so he goes to church by himself! He's dope too. Well yeah it was just a very good and spiritual week! Well what I was saying was on Thursday I got one of the classic sickness that you get here, just a rockin fever and crazy stomach pains! Well it was sweet and I couldnt sleep, so at like 2 in the morning I went out to go to the bathroom, aaaand all I remember is waking up 5 minutes later on the kitchen floor. hahaha Then when I woke up I like couldn't move so I had to get Lilly to help me get my strength back. Then I finished off the night dry heaving and throwing up! hahaha it was sweet but don't worry I'm good now! It was just a good experience. Well yesterday was elder Lillys birthday. So we had dinner at one of the members house again and they bought him cake and stuff. I love going to that house its like home, haha jk. But a great week! Love You momma! And Family!

What it is...

Hey! just going hard and stuff in GC! haha Well today is transfer announcements!! I dont wanna leave yet...haha but I dont think im going anywhere! But Lilly might, I'll have to let you know next week. Well also this next week we finish training! Which is a little bit of a relief haha. I will probably have to train again in like 1 transfer haha. But this week has been great! We had mission conference with President Nielson of the 70. Hes the area president here. It was super good. He gave us a lesson on the Atonement. It was awesome. He talked about the "redeeming power" and the "enabling power" of the Atonement. How the redeeming power turns men from bad to good and the enabling power turns men from good to better. It was sick. Opened my eyes big time.We also had a baptismal interview yesterday and we have a baptism this next Saturday. Brother Fransisco Molero. He's a good guy with super big faith! They are very poor, but he still spends money every Sunday to bring his 6 kids and wife to church every week. So im stoked for him. And then we should have another one the week after that. Hah the work goes a little smoother here. Well this week was a good one! Where is my little brother and sister? haha Mah ko kayo eh!

Keepin It Real Down Here!

Hey FAM!!!! Hows everything going this week?! Well this week was a good one. We had some cool experiences this week! We had a sweet service project out in the boonies this week in Alfonso. Its straight up jungle, super sick. We cut out dead plants in a dragon fruit field! I hadnt even heard of a dragon fruit field till I got here haha!

      But we had some cool lessons this week. We are teaching a family whose baptism was supposed to be Mar. 15th but they just were not progressing which stinks but they commited to reading the Book of Mormon. That was their problem, but its okay because they will be baptized in April also we still have two people in March!  So this week was just tough with teaching because Elder Lily was not helping very much. He would bearly teach or even open his mouth. I cant tell you how hard it is to teach all the lessons by yourself! Especially when you have only been there for 5 months!! So these past few days I was just getting super frusterated with him and just kind of mad. On Saturday night I just kind of realized I was there 3 months ago just hating my comp. because he would get mad. But I read something that David A. Bednar said about the Atonement. That we have the Atonement not just to repent, but to receive strength, and pray for others to receive strength to endure our burdens not change them.. but endure them. So I just prayed for strength and for elder Lily to receive strength. The next days were just so much better! And Sunday night we taught this less active family, and of course it started out all me, but then he just opened up! and taught like the whole lesson! It was dope. Prayer and the Atonement are powerful my friends. And Im learning everyday here. Its freaking dope here haha. Love you mom!!
